Jo Heath
Having always been passionate about sport, I chose to study Physical Education and Sports Science BSc at Loughborough University. After graduating I moved to the US where I worked as a professional coach and club development officer.
Since returning I have spent 12 years working for School Sports Partnerships and fulfilled a number of strategic roles for the county sports partnership including Kent Senior School Games Organiser. I hold a wide range of coaching qualifications, am a Bikeability and Balanceability instructor and a Sports Leaders UK tutor.
In my free time I enjoy cycling and swimming and until recently coached at a county level for Kent Schools Football Association. I am also an advocate for the benefits physical activity can have on mental health and through West Kent Mind have become a Mind Fitness trainer.
Through Sprint I believe we can provide schools with a comprehensive, high quality programme of support, increasing the opportunities for all children to enjoy being physically active.
